Client-based sessions

Offering one-to-one and couples classes, as well as small or large group sessions, Jes can cater to your specific needs. Whether working with injury, wanting to improve strength and balance, or desiring a deeper connect between mind and body, Jes can curate the perfect session for you.  

 

Sessions can be slow and steady, following a traditional Hatha approach, which involves moving through a selection of asana, holding the poses with strength and good alignment; or with more of a flowing Vinyasa approach, in which asanas are strung together in a slightly more dynamic sequence, increasing the heart rate and generating heat.  

 

Jes can also offer therapeutic sessions based on joint mobility; the pawanmuktasana series is great for slightly older clients or those with poor mobility.

Hatha Yoga Specialist

After several years practicing yoga with world class teachers in London and India, Jes headed for the Himalayas where she spent five months in Rishikesh studying the yogic path under an extremely knowledgeable, indigenous teacher. This completely revolutionised her outlook on the yogic path, and how to share this with those with little or no experience. 

 

Jes also draws on her own practice and experience in other yoga styles to be able to create well-sequenced flowing classes, which activate the body's nervous system in a way which is challenging and raises the heart rate, but then brings the body into a relaxed and restorative state.

Knowledgable and experienced

Jes is equipped with a firm understanding of the physics and alignment of Hatha yogasana and is able to offer her clients clear verbal cues and helpful adjustments to find the correct alignment in the pose and build a strong practice. Her sequences are creative, varied, challenging, yet accessible to all.

In her personal practice Jes practices Bikram everyday, Kundalini at home and uses Hatha yoga sequences in her morning rituals. For Jes, yoga really is everything - and everything is yoga!
